Location

Facing Grassington's cobbled village square, the Museum is centrally located with parking available in the Square and in the Yorkshire Dales National Park car park nearby.

Please note: Wheelchair access is on the ground floor only and there are no public toilets. The nearest toilets are located in the National Park car park.

Opening dates and times 2010

We are closed until the Saturday before Easter (27th March 2010) from which date we shall be open every afternoon except Mondays.

  • 27th March to 28th May - 2pm to 4.30pm
  • 29th May to 7th June - 11.30 to 4.30pm
  • 8th June to 1st August - 2pm to 4.30pm
  • 3rd August to 30th August (including the Bank Holiday) - 11.30 to 4.30pm
  • 31st August to 3rd October - 2pm to 4.30pm
  • October - Saturdays and Sundays only 2pm to 4.30pm
  • Half term Tuesday to Sunday 2pm to 4.30pm
  • November - closed
  • December - open all day on 'Dickensian Festival' Saturdays for refreshments by the 'real fire' (£1 per person) and/or a look round the museum

Entrance charges

  • Adults: £1.20
  • Over 60's: 80p
  • Accompanied children under 14 years: Free of charge
  • Small groups and school groups are made very welcome and can be accommodated by prior arrangement at times when the Museum is not otherwise open to the public. Please telephone 01756 752801 or email grassington@live.com to discuss your specific needs or queries.
